Vibrating String Experiment - String Sound Meter
LMEC-21 uses steel string and oscilloscope to measure the standing wave and vibration of uniform string, and can expand innovative experiments, this instrument needs self-prepared oscilloscope. The purpose of the instrument is to set up interesting string sound experiments. It can not only do the traditional basic string vibration experiment, but also expand to the applied experiment to calibrate the intonation of string instruments and learn the working principle of string instruments.
Main Experiments
1. The relationship between string length, linear density, tension and standing wave frequency is studied;
2. The propagation velocity of wave is measured when the string vibrates;
3. Inquiry experiment: the relationship between vibration and sound; 4. Innovation and research experiment: Research on the electrical mechanical conversion efficiency of standing wave vibration system.
