Oscillation Tube

Oscillation tube, for determining the ratio of specific heat capacities cP/cV, l = 60 cm Description For measurement of cP /cV after Ruechard, also for experiments on internal friction of gases; consisting of a precision glass tube with precisely fitting steel ball. If the tube is fitted on a 10 l glass bottle (371 04), the ball inside the tube can be made to oscillate; cp /cv is determined from the period of these oscillations.
